education & outreach
The Champaign Soil & Water Conservation District knows how valuable education is in the conservation of natural resources for our generations and the generations to come. Students of all ages in our county can get involved with the outdoors through a number of programs and events associated with the district.
Teachers, want us to come visit your classroom? We would be happy to! We have a wide variety of topics we can bring and discuss with your students. Everything from wildlife to soil, we have and are expanding our collection of education tools regularly.

Our presentations can be aimed towards groups young and old; K-12, College and Older. Whether your group is a class, 4H club, home school group or bigger (or smaller), we can work with you to help establish what best suits your needs.
We also work in partnership on events like Envirothon and OEECOC's Earth Day! Opportunities are always opening up to have a fun time learning about our environment. Have questions or ideas for something you want to do? Call or email our office's Educator to talk about upcoming events or scheduling a presentation.
