About us
Established in 1944, the Champaign Soil and Water Conservation District has been dedicated to the residents of Champaign County and their land. Our board of supervisors believe that the district must operate on trust and mutual respect among ourselves and those whom we serve. We are proud that we can work together to solve problems and to educate the public. We are a subsidiary of the Ohio Department of Agriculture and an affiliate of the Natural Resources Conservation Service. The district interacts with a number of cooperating agencies that include, but are not limited to the Farm Service Agency, Cooperative Extension Service, Ohio Department of Natural Resources and the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service.
We are always happy to answer any questions you may have concerning your next project, education opportunities, resource materials and conservation work. Our services are here for you. Call, email or even stop in office to talk to a staff member directly.
